Welcome to Teen Global Connect™ ("App"), a communication platform designed for teenagers to engage in meaningful discussions on various topics both locally and globally. These Terms of Use ("Terms") constitute a legal agreement between you ("User," "you," or "your") and Invasive Ideas, LLC ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, you should not use the App.
1. Eligibility
- Age Requirement: Users must be between 13 and 19 years old to use the App. By registering for the App, you represent and warrant that you are between 13 and 19 years of age and that the information you provide during registration, including your name and birthdate, is accurate.
- Automatic Cancellation: On your 20th birthday, your membership will automatically cancel, and your access to the App will be terminated.
2. Account Verification
- Users agree to verify their name, age, and other personal information during registration. We reserve the right to request additional verification if needed.
- Providing false information or using another person’s identity will result in the suspension or termination of your account.
3. Subscription and Payment
- Paid Subscription: Teen Global Connect™ is a paid app with an applicable recurring subscription fee. Applicable taxes will be added to the subscription fee.
- No Refunds: Once you are charged, no refunds will be issued.
- Cancellation Policy: You may cancel your subscription at any time before your next billing period. Cancellations must be submitted in writing through the App’s designated cancellation feature.
- Unsuccessful Billing: If we are unable to process your payment, your account will be suspended until successful payment is made. After two unsuccessful payment attempts, your account will be automatically canceled.
4. Prohibited Conduct
- No Nudity: Users are prohibited from sharing or posting nude images or sexually explicit content.
- No Bullying or Threats: Bullying, harassment, or making threats of violence or harm towards others is strictly prohibited.
- No Illegal Activities: Users may not use the App to engage in any illegal activities, including but not limited to, the sale or distribution of drugs, alcohol, or other controlled substances.
- Complaints and Enforcement: We take complaints about inappropriate behavior seriously. Any complaint against a user will be investigated, and the user’s account may be suspended or canceled based on the findings. We reserve the right to take legal action as necessary.
5. Crisis Hotline Information
- Support Resources: The App provides contact information for crisis hotlines related to issues such as depression, suicide, abuse, and substance abuse. This information is available throughout the App and is provided to offer users access to immediate support when needed.
6. Privacy and Data Security
- Personal Information: We collect and store personal information as described in our [Privacy Policy]. By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of your information in accordance with the Privacy Policy.
- Data Security: We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data. However, we cannot guarantee complete security, and you agree that we are not liable for any unauthorized access to your information.
7. Intellectual Property
- Ownership: All content, features, and functionality of the App, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and software, are the exclusive property of the Company and are protected by intellectual property laws.
- License: We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the App for personal, non-commercial use, in accordance with these Terms.
8. Limitation of Liability
- Disclaimer: The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.
- Limitation of Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Company shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of, or inability to access or use, the App.
9. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
- Governing Law: These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States of America, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
- Dispute Resolution: Any disputes arising out of or related to these Terms or the use of the App will be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the [Arbitration Organization], and you agree to waive any right to a jury trial.
10. Modifications to the Terms
